Hey

So, my breast started itching out of the blue about 10 weeks ago, didn't think anything of it, until 3 weeks later it was still itching. And then one day I woke up and there was a red mark covering a third of my breast. It wasnt a rash, it was a red mark. Almost like a birth mark. I went to the Dr who instantly said it was eczema and sent me away with a cream. During this week I started getting pain, an aching dull pain with intermittent stabbing pains. I then went back to the Dr's a week later, still with the red mark and then the pain. I was referred to the breast clinic and given a steriod cream. The cream got rid of the itching but the red mark was still there, just now dry because of the steriods. My initial dr told me again it was eczema but sent me for an ultrasound "to put my mind at ease". During that ultrasound they found a "grey area" and I had two core needle biopsies. I then went back up to discuss this with the Dr who gave me a surprised look and said it could be IBC. He is still adamant it's eczema and gave me another cream which has just make my skin peel and the red mark is still there. I'm a week into waiting for my results and my breast is still aching and hurting. I'm petrified, can't stop thinking the worst and I still have a week to wait before my biopsy results. 

Any comments on other stories like mine would be nice. Finding it hard to find anything really online about this.
