I had an appointment a week after my FNA to get my results, but this was in Ireland and our healthcare system is very different from ye'res.

My first FNA was May 17th and, on June 1st after chasing, I got indeterminate results requiring an op and a core biopsy to find out if it's cancer or not. The longest wait has been for said op. I've had another FNA in the meantime and that too was indeterminate. In hindsight, I think once you get that result, it's little point having another. I'm now having my op on Monday after loads of chasing. The wait has been the hardest part so I really hope this doesn't happen to you. Good luck x

Thanks for your reply, it's been a week since the FNA. Results have been back since Monday but told me I couldn't be given them over the phone had to wait to see ENT.
 

Was told today that I wouldn't be seeing the ENT and I have an appointment next week with a thyroid specialist surgeon, so I'm guessing I'm having surgery to remove maybe half the thyroid to test it further or maybe the whole thyroid and all the abnormal lymph nodes I have. Really sucks waiting for results for another week when I know they are back! I'm hoping this week goes quickly.
