Over the past 2 years ive had 2 abnormal smears which detected hpv i was sent for a coloposcopy i was told i have severe abnormal cells on cervix.  I have gone in for the procedure about 12 days ago i have followed all the aftercare but after 8 days i had worsening pain, foul discharge, bleeding i am absolutely drained i have been put on antibiotics as a trip to gynae and an exam showed i have an infection from the wound. Been on those now past 4 days when i am sitting resting i feel ok the discharge has eased but when i get up and start moving about doing light chores the bleeding and pain gets a lot worse. Ive now been off work since the procedure has anyone else had same symptoms. I thought it would been straight forward oh i also had my copper coil removed and replaced at the same time.
