Lump near collar bone

Hi i had my 2nd co vide vaccine a year and a half ago the next day i had a huge lump which was a swollen lymph node it went down but after 3 months the lump was still there it is moveable and not painful I went to the doctors and the doctor said if it still hadn't gone down in 3 weeks to go back so i do leave it until a year later the lump is still there i go back to the doctors they do bloods and he says its a muscle. The lump is still there now the bottom of my back aches a lot and this last 3 weeks I have had this weird pressure feeling in my chest? I'm going to ring for another appointment tomorrow. Do any of you think I should be concerned?

  • Hello ldalton and a big welcome to Cancer Chat,

I hope that you will hear from others here who have had something similar and that they will share their experience with you. I think as you are worried about this and you are obviously concerned with this pressure feeling in your chest, it was a good idea to ring and try and get another appointment.

I hope that you've managed to speak to someone about this and that you will get to talk to a doctor soon and find out more about this.

I hope you get some definite answers soon.

    Best wishes,

  • I had lump over left collarbone after covid jab, because had cancer last year I panicked. My nurse said if still there  in a month go to my gp. I left for 3 months still there so they booked me ultrasound. On ultrasound came up a a lypoma (fatty lump), was still there a year later. Last month finally went, along came txt saying booster due, erm I don't think so, I'm not going through that again lol...maybe you could ask for ultrasound to put mind at rest ??? Good luck to u xx
