Hello Everyone, I'm in desperate need of some advice.
I found a small lump on the back of my shoulder blade back in March 2022. I have since had it examined, biopsied and removed. The biopsy came back as 'no suspicious cells' but they decided to remove it just to be on the safe side. The consultant did say that I shouldn't worry as it was along the lines of a sebaceous cyst and they were removing it to prove that everything was ok!
The lump has been removed and it was not a cyst and the doctor wasn't 100% sure what it was herself and described the lump as grissily. I got a phone call to say that it had to be sent for further testing & they are calling me for a face-to-face appointment to discuss results.
what does this mean??? I can't help but think they are going to deliver bad news in person as the doctor said my results would be sent by letter and why would it need to go for further testing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
thank u x
