Health anxiety after breast cancer diagnosis in January

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January, I've had a lumpectomy ant a course of radiotherapy. I got the all clear in April. Initially all was fine but over the last few months I seem to be picking up all sorts of minor ailments. I've had a cough for months and last weekend, after a coughing fit I coughed up blood, this has only happened the once , my GP is lovely and has done various tests - bloods etc , but nothing is showing abnormal. I had a follow up appointment and mentioned the blood he's sending  me for a CT scan, he said to rule everything out , I was at Dr on Wednesday and the CT scan appointment has come through already for this Sunday, I'm feeling a little worried now .

    Hi Ladyappletrees,

It is only natural to be worried at any unusual or additional symptoms after a cancer diagnosis. I am glad to hear that your GP has referred you so quickly for a CT scan. I sincerely hope that nothing new is found.

Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
