Lots of people seem to have these after an US and before biopsie results, has anyone had them and received good news and if so what happens to the clips/markers? Or has anybody not had them and got bad results?

I had them put in today. Biospy results next week but I've been told to expect a cancer diagnosis.
Hope you get a better result than me
Hi Hudson,
It is routine to put markers in, as this allows the surgeon to see exactly where the symptoms are at the time of operation. I understand that, if no cancer is discovered, they can remain in place permanently without causing any ill effect.

Good morning and thank you for your reply. It can't be routine as i didn't have them placed when I had my biopsie 4 weeks ago. It seems weired to have foreign bodies in you for no reason if a good result. I get my result in 3 hours and I'm petrified. I hope your doing well.
Good morning and thank you for your reply. I'm sorry to hear your your expecting bad news, it's a difficult time. Wishing all the best. Take care.
I hope that this means that nothing suspect was noted at the time of your US. Here's hoping that your results prove that today.
Please let us know how you get on. Hoping for the best.
Kind regards,

Every thing went well no sign of cancer just cysts on both breasts. Thank you for your good wishes and hope all is well with yourself.
Hi hudson,
This is really great news. I am so happy for you. Hopefully you can now relax and put the past 4 weeks of torture behind you.
I am doing well thank you. I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer, but they were 13 years ago. I still lead a busy and fulfilling life.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
Wow you have been through the mill, I really don't think I could have coped with treatment, you are so brave and I hope you continue to lead a happy health life. First thing my husband did was book 10 days in the sun to recover. Thank you for your reply.
Hi Hudson,
Many thanks for your good wishes. Enjoy those days in the sun - a great way to celebrate the all clear.
