Hi
i hope you are all safe and well.
my autistic son who is 8 and is non verbal , he also has complex prolonged sezuire (epilepsy) so he has along going on already.
17 month ago I found a little lump the size of a pea (1cm) on the left side of his neck , 17 months on he has a few more enlarged lymph nodes , two of the lymph nodes in-particular have got quite large one is 2.6cm and the other is 2.1cm.
over the last 17 months my son has seen the doctor a handful of times about the enlarged lymph nodes, he has also been to hospital and had a few ultrasound tests obviously that's how I know they have got bigger and they have monitored his bloods that have also been fine.
Putting aside my sons sezuire activities that are really bad when he dose have a sezuire, he has been quite well.
I got a phone call today saying that the lymph nodes have got a little bit bigger but all the blood work is fine and like I said my son has been well apart from the odd sezuire but because of the family history they are going to refer him.
i forgot to add I have a older son who has been fight against leukaemia for the last 6 years , it crazy my older son is 16 and is just about to transition from one hospital to another , he is actually meant to be ringing the bell in December and it looks like I'm going back to hospital with my younger son.
has anyone had president enlarged lymph nodes in there neck for years that haven't been cancer??
I can't tell you how my sons lymph nodes make him feel as I said he can't talk.
any feed back would be great
