My dentist found a lump on my neck. I was referred to the outpatient oral surgeon on the two week pathway. 

the consultant  referred me for an ultrasound. The radiologist didn't seem too concerned and said it was just a swollen gland so didn't need to do a biopsy. 
 

i received a phone call today asking me to come in this Thursday, I asked if it was important or just a review and the receptionist said that the consultant had asked her to get in contact to see me this week. 

I'm just worried as if it was just a review why would they want to see me so soon, I'm worried the consultant had saw sometime on the scan as the radiographer took photos. i Aldi had blood tests so it could be in relation to this. 
 

has anyone ever had this happen to them before and it was bad news?
