Hi all, bit of a nervous wreck as received my date for receiving by breast biopsy results and the fact I can see a surgeon will be the person I see on the day has me worried and probably overthinking BUT just wanted to check if this is normal? I was refered 2 weeks ago by my GP under the urgent 2WW due to a large hard lump that I found on my left breast. I had my first appointment only yesterday, the ultrasound revealed a sold large lump that the radiologist graded at "borderline U4" so performed a core biopsy on the breast. Today I have received the follow up appointment via the hospital portal which has advised I will be seen by a breast surgeon. I am now worrying that this will mean bad news as I was originally told I would be seeing the same Dr I spoke with at the clinic after my initial scan and appointment.
has anyone else had their results given to them by a surgeon and received good news?
