I went to my breast clinic appointment with a lump in my breast when I was seen by the consultant she said it was nothing to worry about but because of my age (41) they would do a mammogram and US.
During these tests the doctor said during the US he found something ( a different lump ) and had to do a core biopsy.
I had that a marker put in and another mammogram.
I saw the doctor after that and she said that they had found a suspicious lesion on both tests and that I would have to wait 3 weeks for the results as it has to go through MDT.
my appointment is on 8th November for that but then this morning had a letter from them saying they want to do an MRI to look in to it further as the mammogram showed dense breasts.
im going out of my mind with worry and am really scared.
has anyone else had anything similar?
