Hey,

I went for my ultrasound guided biopsy on my neck today, however no biopsy was taken even though it was ordered by the haematologist. 
 

the sonographer asked me about the lump I originally went in for then asked me if I've felt anything lower down where he was ultrasounding for a long time, not much else was really said. 
 

why would the biopsy not have been taken? Is this a good thing? Or did he find something else on the readings? 
 

he said the haematologist will go through everything with me at my next appointment.

i should have asked why no biopsy was taken but I was too nervous.

has this happened to anyone else?
