Hi just looking for anyone who has had cgin cells? I had 2 smears hpv positive but normal cells then my most recent one was hpv & hg severe dyskaryosis, I went for a colposcopy and the consultant said it was cgin which I'd never heard off and he will need to do a biopsy under general anaesthetic instead of lletz there and then. It was such a shock and I'm so worried about it. I looked it up online after my appointment to see what it was and I've scared myself as everything I read seemed so bad! Can anyone who's had cgin cells help by sharing their experiences. I have 2 young children and I'm beside myself with worry :(
