Waiting to find out if I have Prostate cancer. Struggling

Afternoon,

I have recently had transperinral prostrate biopsy, to determine whether, a small 10mm abnormality is cancerous or other.

I'm open minded to accept the result is cancer, but I'm struggling at the moment, waiting for results, which can be up to 3 weeks.

I'm sorry to hear that you're currently waiting for biopsy results and facing a possible diagnosis of prostate cancer. I know that waiting for results can be a particularly difficult time and it's natural that you may be experiencing a whole range of thoughts and feelings right now.
Often it can help to talk things through with someone and I wonder if you might find it useful to chat with one of our team of nurses.
