I have to go for results next week for possibly breast cancer, at the moment I'm not handling it very well I just want to be on my own but I no I need to go back to work. Any help appreciated
Maybe your results won't bring bad news I myself have had breast cancer and in my experience it wasn't as bad as I had imagined had lumpectomy chemo and radiation x
Hi Sooty, this is the Hardest time for you! The unknown is hurrendous your mind runs wild and thinks up lots of awful thoughts,, this is the most Scared you will feel once you know what your dealing with you will cope better.
I spent nights sat on the sofa with my Dogs, when I waited for results, I have a young family so was just horrid.
I was actually told I have breast Cancer on my first appointment and was confirmed a week later, I had a treatment plan all set out and had lots of time for questions. I also had a Nurse she was great as I could ring her when I had a wobble. I have since had a lumpectomy, Chemo and Radiotherapy' and just had my first Mammogram since being diagnosed this time last year! I have Anxiety again waiting for my Results.
Although I have wrote all this, I hope it's not Breast Cancer and is something else. You will be okay no matter what, it's a bump in the road.
