It must be very frustrating when you feel like you're not being listened to or that your symptoms are not being taken seriously but be persistent as your doctor is the only one who can tell you whether this is any cause for concern and refer you for any tests if needed.

Thank you for your reply. I think its worrying me more because my fiancées sister was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and she keeps telling me she doesn't want to know about it as she has enough to worry about with her sister. My mum, gran, my grans mum and dad all had cancer too. I'll always persist to get to bottom of things and will post update once seen doctor. Thank you again

Not to freak you out, and most do turn out to be nothing, but a "hard" lump just above, on and just below the collarbone should always, always be investigated further if there's been no change in around 2 weeks.

Hard swellings in the Supraclavicular lymph area warrant proper tests as swellings are less common in that area than they are further up. I'd not leave that surgery until you get taken seriously.

My wife who is currently going through breast cancer was told hard lumps anywhere should be taken seriously until proven benign.
