Inverted nipple - Breast clinic referral

I went to the GP with an inverted nipple and now have a breast clinic appointment.
I'm 23 and the doctor didn't seem particularly concerned but just wanted to be cautious. But I get very anxious with hospitals and examinations and I wanted to see how often people end up having biopsies for nipple inversions as I am extremely needle phobic and nervous for my appointment.

Welcome to Cancer Chat. It's good to hear you have the referral as this will mean you should get some answers before long and hopefully some peace of mind.
I'm not too sure how often a biopsy is required, but there is some general information here on what to expect at a breast clinic appointment, so hopefully that will be helpful.
