Throat surgery tomorrow so anxious it could be cancerous

Hi I'm getting really worried I've surgery in the morning of my tonsil and a mass behind the tonsil to be sent for a biopsy I've also lymph nodes thad need scanned around my neck and collar bone had had a few that were sort of almost rubbery and could move slightly big now found solid form hard ones that are stuck to the bone one on my neck near the side of my ear but not on the ear I feel sick with anxiety if it turns out the mass in my throat is cancer would of mean these lymph nodes Is it spreading to other areas

    I'm not sure what time you're having your surgery this morning but I just wanted to wish you the very best of luck and let you know we're thinking of you.

    I hope your surgery goes well and I'll have my fingers crossed the results show nothing cancerous.

    Hi Steph thank you I had surger yesterday they said thd tonsil and mass was much much bigger than the expected, I'm pretty doped up on oromorph! Stayed in last night. Waiting on them trying to get scans on lymph node on neck etc my hubby is constantly having to take time off work for other appointments regarding my previous I'll health and just gets to you a lot of people family etc say things like always here for you if you need me etc just shout etc wish I could just shout some lifts etc from family my mum etc I think the extra morphine in hospital has got me gibberish X

    I'm home now from hospital in a lot of pain but surgeon said the tonsil was really big think bigger than he expected as he seemed surprised. Because I couldn't have a Ct scan with contrast as I'm allergic to the dye they decided on an ultrasound scan the doctor doing it stopped a lot to look measure I'm not sure, but said there was 3 reactive lymph nodes on one side of my neck and 2 reactive lymph nodes on the other side. I think reactive lymph nodes sound reassuring? Just not sure about the other lymph nodes he never said anything. They've said they want to see me back in clinic in 2 to 3 weeks but would that mean I'd get called in sooner if results from the biopsy is quicker my heads just all messy with it all!! One doctor seems to be reassuring while another says no one can tell me anything for sure until the biopsy resulits are in. My mouth is so so painful from the surgery and my tongue is caked in thrush and ulcers one side of my tongue is blue as if it's all bruised

    Hello, this describes my MRI results and I'm due for a tonsillectomy and investigation 12th Jan. Can I ask if you had your results back?
