Breast pain like a bruise

Hi, 

currently battling with the voice that screams this is baaad. 

So in Feb I found a lump in my left breast. All test done and it was nothing just a fatty thing. 

I have a large vein (this is not a concern) in my left breast and in June I noticed an area hurt to touch. Almost like a bruise. I made a docs appt but during the week and half wait the pain went away. 

Yesterday I felt sore under my arm and checked. As I palp the area of the vein the pain was there again. I dont have to be too firm its there when I touch softly. My arm can cauae it to hurt. It feel like a bruise and is only felt when touched. 

Could this be focal breast pain? I read online focal pain is dangerous.

    Hi Cottinclowns,

    It sounds as if you are busy consulting 'Dr Google' for a diagnosis and, this can be a very scary thing to do. Many ladies experience breast pain at the time od their monthly cycle and, it is unusual to have breast pain with a cancer diagnosis.

    Why don't you make an appointment with your GP and get their opinion again?  If they have any doubt, they will refer you to the breast clinic. Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.

    I tend to google all things, all the time. 

    Yep, I am seeing my GP on Monday. 

    Just so strange how an area can hurt to touch and was wondering if anyone else had the issue. 

    I will keep you all posted xxx
