Terrified of brain tumor

So abour three weeks ago I started with some headaches and vertigo and It started the day after I banged my head. I have seen various doctors and walks in as I am scared they think the bang started my headaches and they have missed the brain turmor signs and it's a coincidence that it started after my hand bang. They have done various tests but no scans. I still have headaches above my eyes and round  my head and above my head. Hurts more then bend down or cough etc.

  • I really doubt the doctors would miss the signs of a brain tumour. After all, they would know them far better than we would and it seems unlikely they'd miss something that would occur to somebody who hasn't their experience. One doctor might be incompetent or overworked and miss something but multiple doctors sounds pretty unlikely. If multiple doctors think there is no need to even test for a brain tumour, then I would say it is very unlikely you have one. In my experience, doctors will check for serious things if there is even the slightest chance. I have been told, "I don't think there's anything to worry about, but we have to check" a couple of times.

If multiple doctors have done tests that indicate it is due to the bang, then you can probably be fairly confident that it is.

Did you tell the doctor about still having headaches and when it hurts more?

  • Yes I did I went to the walk in this week and did various checkes eyes muscle etc and I said I was scared I had a brain tumor and the nurse said you don't just still headaches form the bang and probably stress and the vertigo also form there. So seen one doctor and spke
