Tips for a Hospital Appointment and Pain Query

Hey Newbie here, please be kind.

I have felt a painful lump in my left breast for about two months and finally got it checked. The doctor could feel it and found another on in the other breast. She said that was a good sign, but still fast tracked me to get it checked at hospital.

Does anyone have any tips for the appointment? Like what to wear or expect? They said they would take a sample if they need to on the day. That has made me very nervous. Is this surgery?

Obviously, the fact I was fast-tracked has made me concerned, but I have read that most woman don't feel pain and both breast are very sensitive and painful. Sometimes this sharp, sometimes achy and sometimes feel like a burning sensation - is this normal?

Thanks in advance!
