Stool test update. What now? Very scared !!

So a little update. I had my second stool test result come back this morning and the doctor said it came back at 101, which was lower than the test before. As it was 1 over a normal result she said I could repeat the test. I'm the end we've opted for a referral for a colonoscopy and also a ultrasound as I've been having a little bit of abdominal pain ( left ovary)  although she gave me the option and I feel she was happy to do another stool test  

I don't really know what to think now. 10 months or bloating and feeling full and only in the last 2 weeks I've had this dull ache ovary my ovary. ( there's where i feel it. Location could be off ) 

I'm not looking for a diagnosis but if anyone can share similar experiences or advice I would be so grateful.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're still dealing with some ongoing health problems. 

    Whilst it sounds promising that the second stool test didn't give any immediate cause for concern, it's understandable that you're still feeling anxious about what may be responsible for your symptoms. 

    It's good to know that although your GP wasn't overly worried they've referred you for some further investigations and hopefully you won't have to wait too long for the ultrasound or colonoscopy. 

    We know that waiting for appointments and results can be a difficult time for many people. Often it can help to talk things through with someone and I wonder if you might find it useful to chat with out team of nurses. I'm sure they would be happy to offer any advice and support that they can. If you'd like to speak with them they're available Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm on 0808 800 4040.
