Hi Gems
I've just been referred too for pain. My understanding is that at the clinic they do everything at that appointment, tests etc. i hope you get your appointment soon. I am fortunate to have my husbands health insurance so have done it through that as the stress was too much. Good luck x
I had an gp appointment yesterday as I have a small lump in my left breast along with visible veins that aren't on the other. I'm in the same boat been referred on the 2 week referral. It's worrying but I'm trying to keep busy.
Good luck x
Hi when I saw doctor had to wait couple weeks to see if lump changed and it didn't.
Then gp referred me I got a phone call from the hospital about four days later to go in on a Friday.
On my appointment I was examined first on both breasts then could only feel my lump when sat up. Then waited back in waiting room got changed into gown then called for ultrasound sound then had biopsy done they numbed it first then took two biopsys all done felt tiny bit sore later in the day kept plaster and dressing on.
The waiting was the hardest part took 3 weeks mine ended up a fibroadenoma but talking to doctor again soon as lot aching and pain in breast.
Good luck x
Hi got appointment it's next Friday so will see and go from there thanks everyone xx
Good luck I'm just off for my appointment - absolutely terrified x
Good luck let me no xx
How did it go x
How did your appointment go? I have mine next Monday. It's been the longest week ever and still a week to go until mine. X
Hi Gem
Sorry for the slow reply. Thankfully all clear. Costochondritis and also inflamed breast tissue caused by hormonal changes - perimenopausal. Have to say they were so lovely. Really caring, thoughtful and said to me whatever happens today we will look after you. I was in and out within an hour and a half. That was consultant, mammogram, ultrasound and back to the consultant.
i really hope you get on ok, please let me know x
