I know the best place is the GP but stuck in the waiting part so need to just vent a little.

I've had raised lymph nodes in my neck since end of July/beginning of August and an on and off temperature of around 38 degrees. I was reaching 38.6 last week at work. I don't get drenching night sweats just a sweaty neck/hairline but I do get hot in the day and Have to change scrubs at work! I take methylphenidate for ADHD so thought that would be causing the temp increase but it's the same on days I don't take it. I'm achy and tired and have actually had to cut my contract at work as I couldn't manage. My bloods in August had high CRP and low lymphocytes.

Seen my GP last week and I've had more bloods done. CRP and lymphocytes back in normal range. The only thing I could pick out was my serum ferritin is 11ug so right on bottom end of normal- explain some symptoms!

I think she said if there's no obvious cause she'll refer me to haematology, so now I'm worried! My temp isn't always high atm but I've got a thermometer at home now so measuring every ten mins doesn't help!

I have an appointment with GP next Monday, shall I try get a sooner one?
