I'm sorry for the worry your symptoms are causing but it's great to hear you sought out medical advice and are now awaiting the results of your ultrasound.

Hopefully they won't take too long to come through but our members know how tough this time can be so you are not alone and I'm sure some of them will be along soon to offer you their support.

Makes me wonder if you have anaemia, caused by the heavier periods. Anaemia causes headaches, fatigue and hair to fall out and also can make platelets go up, mine are almost 600 x

I spoke to my GP yesterday my ultrasound scan shows that I have endometrial polyps the conversation went very fast unfortunately I was at work and wasn't in a private area so I couldn't ask the questions I wanted too she said I am being referred to the gynecologist but didn't give me any time scale confused now I don't know if its being treated as urgent or not. Just waiting on my blood results which I get tomorrow.

Ukmissfit thank you for commenting it could very well be anaemia is that controlled with tablets and combination of diet?

Can anyone advise me if I will receive a referral letter in the post? If I need time off I will need to produce this in advance.
