Hi, there is no need to apologise or feel bad. Having any pain is awful and your feelings are valid. If I were you, I would ask the doctors about this as you mention that it is getting more painful.

I was in very bad pain after a sigmoidoscopy (a procedure that looks in the left side of the large intestine) biopsy and after a week, I called 111 as I wasn't sure if it is normal to still be in so much pain. They advised me to go to A&E. Thankfully, they thoroughly checked and there was nothing wrong but they gave me stronger painkillers to help relieve the pain. 

It is great that you are feeling grateful that you don't have something more serious, but you can always ask for help if you are going through pain or having health concerns.

Thanks so much for your reply I think I'll try get phone call with doctor and just mention the pain seems to be getting worse and maybe if removing it was an option I'd definitely go for that like I say feel bad as could've been lot worse news.

Good you called 111 better to be checked when in pain hope you're a lot better now and biopsy was ok. The waiting definitely hard round week 3 over waiting found it difficult. Least only fibroadenoma but not sure if they are meant to hurt this much.
