I've found a lump in my arm this afternoon and going to get a drs same day appointment tomorrow. However I'm wondering how fast they can grow as almost certain it's bigger since finding it. May just be my imagination though...
A warm welcome to our forum! Reading your most recent updates on the situation, you have since seen the doctor who has referred you to have an ultrasound. It's great that they are looking into this closely and I hope that you won't have to wait too long to be seen.
You mentioned in your latest thread that the lump has definitely grown today and if you are concerned about it, I think it would be a good idea to have it looked at again. As it's the weekend you could ring 111 to talk to someone out of hours and ask for advice on whether someone can look at it this weekend or if it can wait until you talk to your GP on Monday. But as you've noticed changes in the size of your lump, it's definitely important to flag these.
I hope that the ultrasound can shed some light on what this lump is and that you get it all sorted soon.

We had this sorta conversation with the breast specialist. The simple answer is, if a lump is growing, it's growing all the time. Hard cancers don't just sprout within hours, though, even very aggressive ones.
The cancers that are deemed to be urgent and can overwhelm a person in no time at all are blood cancers. It's why some people begin treatment on the same day as their diagnosis. Some of those are classed as medical emergencies and need to be seen to asap.
