Hi, I'm new here. I'm 35 and found this forum in a panic as I'm investigating some symptoms and I'm scared. 

I've had digestive problems for years including a fissure which was operated on, but that's just about handled now.

I occasionally would get pain in the lower left of my abdomen which lasted a few hours to a day, and I'd struggle to sit on the toilet without intense pain in  one spot.

Last Friday, it got so bad the pain affected my left hip, leg and lower back and while i haven't needed painkillers since that day, it hasn't stopped hurting.

I just had a doctors appointment where she pressed and it hurt, so I've been told to try painkillers and laxative for a week, then come back for a smear test and referral. I thought it was diverticulitis but she thinks it may be ovary related. 

I can never seem to hold my stomach in, and over the past few months my periods have got lighter.

Im caring for my mum after a stroke, stress coming at me from all sides, money issues and I'm supposed to be flying to the USA for three weeks next month and I'm terrified I've somehow missed something serious like ovarian cancer. It HURTS. 

Sorry this has been a ramble, I have any of you had good news after symptoms like this?
