I'm so sorry to read what you're going through, especially after what happened with your Mum. This must be really traumatic for you. 

I've got a lump too, and was seen withing 2 weeks. Now waiting on biopsy results. They think it's a Fibroadenoma. I have also had two cysts in the past, so try to be reassured that there are definitely benign lumps and apparently only a very few are cancer. Of course you will have the added worry about your mum. I would speak to the consultant when you get your appt and explain why you are particularly nervous, they are very understanding. 

Hopefully your appt will come through v soon within the next two weeks. That's the normal procedure for any lump, so don't take it as a sinister sign.

Thanks so much for your reply, I have 2 kids and I think I'm just winding myself up into a tizzy, it's most likely nothing to worry about, I have people around me but no one that has found a lump before, only my mum and I can't speak with her , just wanted to speak with someone who's going through the same x
