Retracted left nipple and new burning pain

Hello, 10 months ago I went to see my GP with a sudden retracted left nipple. I was referred to the breast clinic and had lots of tests, ultrasound, mammogram, etc, which all came back clear. Over the last couple of weeks I've noticed quite an intense burning sensation in the nipple area, which seems to be more noticeable in the evening. Has anyone had anything like this? I don't know whether to be worried or go back go the GP.

  • I would see the doctor if you have concerns they can help you either go on to breast clinic or just wait and see under their care. We need reassurance and you can only get that from a doctor. I have had discharge from my nipples that turned out to be a problem with the milk ducts l had repeated infections and antibiotics. They removed lots of the ducts, Fortunately all benign but like you uncomfortable.,

    take care
