My niece has been waiting for urgent appt at breast clinic to investigate lump she found in August. She keeps phoning but still hasn't had appt because of covid backlog. Is this right? She's been waiting 7 weeks now
I would go private for first appointment if you are worried you can go to spire or Nuffield for first appointments to settle your self and then they can transfer you if need be to nhs if anything is needed it's not worth the stress of waiting if you are able to I went private waited 2 days after tel with them , goood luck with your neice xx
I no it's quite expensive but the worry I was in outweighed the cost to be honest , I think it used to be a 2 week wait on nhs now it's more 6 to 8 weeks from lots of ladies on here that's a long time if you are all worrying xx bless you all xx
