Hoping for the advise

I have never posted on one of these Sites before but thought I would give it a go. I'm 31 years old.

I have been having symptoms for some time but like some have you have said I didn't really put any of them together until now.
I went to the gp over a year ago as the right side of my abdomen looked distended when I wore jeans. He said it looked ok to him and felt my stumach but didn't seem concerned. He sent me for a external abdominal scan where the lady said all my organs looked fine and she would send them back to the GP. She said If there was anything abnormal he would contact me otherwise they wouldn't. I didn't hear back so went with all was ok, ignoring and stupid I no.

now a year on I started getting coccyx pain that runs down the back of my right leg  and again put it down to doing a heaving lifting job.

went doctors and they said it's just a Injury common for my age and see physio. That was four months ago and I'm still in agony with my coccyx and it's uncomfortable to open my bowels. I have this weird Sensation in my stumach on the right side that I just can't explain and regularly have trapped wind and acid reflux.

I am now booked in to see the GP again this week to get answers. I have mentally prepared myself for the worst..

  • Hi Emz66,

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing these difficulties. You've done the right thing by speaking to your GP - only they can advise on this. Try to make the most of your upcoming appointment by asking any questions you have and making sure you get the answers and reassurance you need.

You can talk through the timeline and any changes you've noticed recently. They can then advise accordingly.

I hope it all goes OK.

    All the best,

    Ben
