A warm welcome to Cancer Chat. I am sorry to hear you have had covid for the third time and that this meant your appointment has been rescheduled for a week's time. It's normal to be worried though and I can imagine the thought of having to wait another week before getting it looked at is making you even more anxious. A week will fly by though and you're definitely doing the right thing in getting it checked out. 

Many of our members have been in your position before and hopefully will be along shortly to share their story with you.  Waiting for results is the hardest thing and it can sometimes feel like time is standing still. There are helpful tips on this page to help you cope while waiting for important news. While you are waiting, try and keep busy and distracted if you can staying well away from the temptation of looking things up online as this will only make you worry even more and bring up the least likely and most frightening scenario.

Best of luck for your GP appointment next week and I hope that it all turns out to be nothing of concern.

I have been keeping myself busy, the days are going by fairly quickly but night times are long. I've been reading some of the other posts on here and it is comforting to know I am not alone worrying while waiting, although I wish no one had to be in the same position. 
 

I work in healthcare so I try to tell myself the same thing that I would say to someone else, it's hard to take your own advice though ‍:neutral:
