I've been having a lot of lower abdomen pain as well as heavy heavy periods and spotting occasionally in between periods. I had a smear about 6 months ago that the results showed I needed another in a year. I've had a scan and an internal which drs said I have a large cluster of fibroids in my womb 8cms plus. They also said I have a growth on my cervix, possibly a polyp. I have to be referred to gynaecologist but it's been 8 weeks and nothing. Should I be worried? I'm 37 years with 3 teenage sons
