Hi, I'm new to this. I noticed a flat blemish on my back/shoulder in June 2022. After a holiday in July I noticed this was no longer flat, but a dome shaped (blister looking) mole. It was all the same colour from what I could see, but it used to be pale skin coloured, it's now more tan coloured. Anyways, I went to my GP early Aug, who referred me to a derm. I had my appointment late August and she said it looked nothing to worry about, and give me a CHOICE in removal. I opted to have it removed! Whilst there she noticed 2 other "suspicious" moles. I had one of these excised last week with a 3 inch scar, and have the other 2 (including the one I was originally worried about) removed next week via punch biopsy. Just concerned the derm hasn't thought of nodular melanaoma, as it seems to fit these characteristics :/ if that's the case it's really important to have this removed as soon as possible, but it's been 3 months since I noticed when it was flat! I'm worried for the results of my others too, just this one is my main concern and the derms least concern! What's the next steps if it is cancerous? I have so many moles that they haven't looked at yet.
