So I've had hpv on the past 4 smear tests now, I had my latest in July this year had to wait 8 weeks for my results which have come back with hpv & abnormal cells. When having the smear the nurse said I had an abrasion on my cervix and it wasn't anything to worry about. Now I've got a 10week wait for colposcopy and I'm really worried about it. I've had abnormal bleeding for a few months now bleeding after intercorse and pain during sex and also had pelvic pain and cramps which I don't normally get during periods never mind just at any moment. Is there anything to worry about or am I just overthinking things?
