Today I had a call, regarding a raised CA125 level. They have said it was borderline being just on the 35 mark, now having to go for an urgent ultrasound. Has anyone else been here and can help me in what to think?
Thank you xx

Hi Lottiepop and welcome to the forum.
I'm sorry to hear your recent ca125 test results showed that your levels were borderline.
I know this must be worrying, especially as you've now been referred for an ultrasound, but try not to panic or think the worst if you can. Easier said than done I know, but a raised ca125 level can indicate many things, not just cancer, as you can see just here.
If you'd like to discuss this in more detail with one of our cancer nurses, they'll be available from Tuesday onwards on 0808 800 4040 between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very helpful and will do all they can to answer your questions and put your mind at ease.
We're thinking of you Lottiepop and wishing you all the best with your ultrasound.

You're very welcome Lottiepop.
Yes, it can be a tad overwhelming and a bit of a minefield at times but I do hope the link has helped make this easier to understand.
That's great you don't have to wait too long for your scan although I know the next week will be tough. Hopefully some of the advice given in this article will help until then.
Do keep us posted on your progress Lottiepop and feel free to join in on other discussions you find about this when using the 'search forum' option in the purple bar above as our community are very welcoming and will do all they can to support you.
