I am not sure exactly how long you might need to wait to be seen - as you said it will depend on several factors including your postcode so it might be worth giving the hospital where you might have the colonoscopy a call to see whether they could give you an estimate or a timeframe. 

I hope that you will hear from others here who have found themselves in a similar position having to wait for a virtual CT colonoscopy and that they will be along shortly to share their experience with you.
