Hi everyone
I went to gps to remove an odd mark on cheek bone that had a dark tip and different colours within it. I have had this mark for years but it started to change recently.
Initially I sent some photos in, in which Gp then wanted to see in person who then took more photographs to send to dermatology
I then found out I was yet to have more photographs of the odd in the hospital in which I have a two week wait
I am awaiting results but to be honest I only went to see if they could remove it not a cancer diagnosis
My question is why so many photographs when gp used a special magnifier and why the wait when they have so many photographs I'm a little confused and of course a bit anxious but really would dearly like it removed whatever it is
Plus what is the normal waiting time it's 8 days already
