I'd like to assume no news is good news but I've seen stories that suggest otherwise. 
 

I had an ultrasound done on 24th august and was told I'd get my results by letter. I'm not freaking out because the consultant I saw 2 weeks before that wasn't overly concerned and said the ultrasound was more a precaution due to my family history and the ultrasound tech said she couldn't see anything worrisome. I think they said I'd get the results in 2 weeks but might be mixing that up with the time I'd get the ultrasound apt. 
 

I know there's postal strikes and our post can be quite delayed anyway, but I'm assuming if it was bad news I'd have had a call to tell me or to book an apt to go back in? My only real worry is that IF (and big if as I really am not too concerned) it is bad news the letter might be inviting me back to the hospital to get the results and I might then miss the apt because I haven't had a letter yet. 
 

I will call them Wednesday as by then it'll be 3 weeks and our current post is roughly a week behind.
