Long story, short. Had post penopausal bleeding. Was put on the 2 week cancer pathway.. I had a scan. Called back and booked in for hysterectomy. polyp removed and biopsy taken.. Was told by consultant that everything looked ok and I would probably be discharged to my gp. The leaflet they gave me after the procedure said results would be in 4-6 weeks.

I've just answered a phone call from the hospital and they have asked me to come in on Friday - 2 weeks after the biopsy. I'm trying to stay calm, but it's not working. What does this mean? Is this normal?
