Lump below collar bone

Hi folks

I'm currently going through a worrying time as I've found a lump under the right hand side of my collar bone towards the shoulder. The lump itself is like a grain of rice and it moves about when I push it. I've had many breast lumps in the past (think I'm a naturally lumpy person!) and all have been ok. However I remember in the past reading that swollen nodes towards the collar bone could be more serious. Im struggling with the anxiety of it all.

has anyone had the same or going through same currently!

thanks

  • When I joined this forum, it was because of my swollen lymph nodes. I have one above my left and right collar bone (slightly different places). Both been scanned- both appear to be harmless reactive nodes. I'm 39. It was a very frightening time as I was convinced I had cancer. I think they came up when I had covid or the jab. They haven't gone down, nearing a year now! But not grown either. It's very easy to start imagining all sorts of symptoms when you're paranoid you're ill x

  • Hi and thanks so much for your reply

that has helped calmed my nerves a bit. Really appreciated your response. the waiting is so hard. I know worrying changes nothing but it's so hard not to
