So I'm 33 I have had a sore throat for around 10 weeks and pain in my ears my doctor keeps prescribing me antibiotics saying it looks like tonsillitis, last time he did some bloods that came back satisfactory (which says to me no infection) it has flared up quite painfully again and iv managed to see my doctor again today where he's found my tonsil is bleeding he's told me to stop the antibiotics now as they are clearly not helping he has referred me to Ear Nose and Throat under the 2 week rule I am frightened to death I can't sleep or stop thinking about it, I don't think it's all help by the fact my best friend had his voice box removed due to throat cancer a few months ago has anybody else had any of my symptoms.
