Hey, so I had some stool samples come back a couple months ago with a level of 1167 faecal calprotectin. I have a had blood and mucous with diarrhoea, loose stool or occasionally constipation. Recently had a sigmoidoscopy and doctor found nothing other than possible evidence of hemmoroids. My symptoms have gotten a lot better now. Further, I'd like to add my main pain was towards the right and or bottom right of my abdomen, and in turn I know that a sigmoidoscopy doesn't reach that far so is it still possible that I have some sort of IBD centralised around my small intestines to start of my large intestines? In addition, sometimes I would just pass blood clots and other times during a bowel movement I would experience terrible cramps/distension which seemed to lead me to malabsorption as mostly everything would go straight through. Lastly I'd like to add my symptoms started getting a lot better once I cut out a lot of fibre, red meats and a lot less dairy.
