I had my appt today at the clinic, I have an enlarged lymph node, the radiographer biopsied it, I'm so scared, surely they would have only done a biopsy if they thought it was serious ?!
Hi pumpkin22, much the same thing happened to me at my first clinic appointment. The radiographer said my lymph node was a bit "chunkier" than she would expect it to be so she biopsied it. She could have said, It's probably ok or, Let's hope it's ok, but we would never have known whether there was anything to worry about or not. So they are just being really thorough and leaving nothing to chance. That's not to say there is something wrong but they just want to be sure. I'm still waiting for my result so I understand how anxious you must be feeling. Waiting and not knowing are really torture, aren't they?
