Worried about maxifillial sinus cancer

My husband has loads of health conditions (advanced heart failure, lung conditions inc. COPD, type 2 diabetes, lowered kidney function. He was recently given "a few months to live" end of life heart failure. Then 6 weeks ago a marble size lump appeared on his cheek bone. It's got bigger week on week and it's NOT a cyst or abcess.If not cancer, what CAN it be? I'm worried it's cancer and he's not fit for any kind of operation. First appt with Oral surgeon tomorrow and MAYBE reffereal for an MRI. Most importantly I don't want him to suffer but I also need to know what to expect. I'm stressed about all this

    I'm very sorry to hear about your husband and this marble sized lump that has continued to grow on his cheek bone. 

    I noticed you said that your husband has his first appointment with the oral surgeon today so I just to wish you both the very best of luck. 

    I'm not sure what time you'll be seeing the oral surgeon but if you'd like to discuss any of this with one of our cancer nurses before and/or after the appointment, you can give them a call on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very helpful and will do all they can to support you at this time.

    I can't begin to imagine how incredibly difficult this period of your lives must be but we are here for you and sending all our strength your way.
