Have had episodes of nausea, vomiting, dizziness and abdominal pain for over 11 months. Blood tests raised for infection, liver and inflammation. Discovered in an ultrasound 3 months ago I had a gallbladder polyp measuring 7mm. I was told at the time that when it reaches 10mm it would have to come out. However it would not be for several years as it was slow growing and would need monitoring annually. After another admission due to collapse, nausea, sickness I had another scan. In less than 3 months the polyp has grown 10mm and there is now a second polyp. Referred to consultant who said that I should not worry and they will review me in another month to see if other checks on why my blood results are out are concluded., also that most people would never know they had polyps unless they picked it up on an ultrasound. Definitely worried as my closest relatives have cancer, which ultimately some of them lost the battle with. Worried that the speed of growth means it is cancer.
