I'm sorry to hear that your recent ultrasound showed an abnormality and that you're now waiting for the results of your CT scan. 

We know that for many people this period of waiting for news can be particularly difficult. Facing the unknown can cause a lot of worry and it's understandable that you're feeling anxious about what these results will say and what that may mean for you. 

Sometimes it can help to talk things through with someone and I wonder if you might find it useful to chat with our team of nurses whilst you're waiting for news. I'm sure they will be happy to listen and offer any advice and support that they can. If you'd like to talk with them they're available Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm on 0808 800 4040. 

In the meantime, try to keep busy and avoid using Google to look for answers as most often people find that this leaves them feeling even more anxious.
