Either side of my jawbone, right at the back, I have these 2 balls under the bone (so one lump or ball per side) When you feel along the bone you can't feel them — it's almost like they're under it, I can pull them out and move them by digging my thumb under the bone. I can move them around with my fingers, they're super mobile. They don't hurt at all. I think I've had them for about 15 years, I remember just absentmindedly fiddling with them when I was 8 or 9. They've stayed the same size the whole time. They can get a little sore if I move them around loads and loads and loads.
It's been so long I kind of just figured they were a part of the body, but I have very severe hypochondria lol and I've just remembered that they exist and they're freaking me out. What are they? Since they're on both sides in the same place, are they a node or a gland or something? They've literally been the same size my whole life. I've booked an appt at the GP but I'm still worried in the meantime?
