Uterine cervical abnormalities

Hi

if anyone has had anything similar, would love to hear outcome. Periods became heavier about a year ago about 7 months ago started coming more frequently. 10weeks ago started bleeding have stopped for 2days in that time. Had ultrasounds that have shown abnormal uterine cavity and cervix. Lining is 15mm, Kidneys, liver, spleen are all showing normal. GP said it's likely to be a form of cancer
I have been referred on 14 day urgent referral and have an appointment on Monday. I am stressing and worrying. I've got little kids and am so scared.  Any positive outcomes with similar.
I'm 46 and though was the menopause.

Thanks

I just wanted to pop on and post to wish you well ahead of your appointment on Monday.

I know how difficult this period of waiting and uncertainty can be. It's good to hear that the ultrasounds of your kidneys, liver, and spleen are all showing normal so try and keep the focus on the positive news that you do know until you hear otherwise.

Hopefully, the team will be able to give you some answers and reassurance about the next steps at your appointment on Monday.

If you want to talk things through with our nurses at any point you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm. I'm sure they will be happy to offer any advice and support that they can.

Keep in touch and let us know how you get on next week.

    Best wishes,
